I've been writing less, experiencing more... thinking less, feeling more.
I took a brief hiatus from early morning writing in an effort to be less cerebral and more emotional.
... an area of my life I haven't placed much emphasis until fairly recently.
I often find myself going through the motions, dying on a sword of routine, instead of allowing myself to soften and experience the moment being presented to me — and that hasn't always served me as well as I'd have liked.
As my birthday approached, I chose to reflect on where I was at in my life and why...
... and while consistency (word of the year) has played a big role, alignment has played a larger one.
I used to phrase it as 'finding alignment' but I now believe it's more in line with removing what's preventing it.
... something that still requires action, but a connectedness to one's intuition determines it's efficacy.
I'm not sure it's something that can be learned, per say... as I think it exists in each and every one of us.
... but I do think it's something that needs to be cultivated — a use it or lose it type of thing.
If there's any input I lean into to aim to remain in alignment it's simply asking:
"Does this feel in alignment with what's mean for me in this moment?"
The outcome becomes irrelevant so long as the input is aligned.
Right now, living in LA feels incredibly aligned — because of my community (something I undervalued previously).
... and the deeper I go, the more I find valuing life's imperfections to be the greatest source of fulfillment.
We have five (3) spots remaining on the only retreat I'm facilitating in 2024... to Kefalonia, Greece. An 8-day, 7-night all-inclusive wellbeing retreat (mindset, movement & meditation) to one of the healthiest places on the planet.
You can expect daily adrenaline-filled excursions, mindful workshops, guided meditations, local cuisine, and more.
If you'd like to reserve one of the few remaining spots, tap here.

"I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone.
It's not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel all alone."
— Robin Williams
